Halloween is all about fun, costumes, and candy—lots of candy. But when the sugar rush fades, many parents find themselves wondering what to do with the overflowing buckets of sweets. This year, EverlastingEats has the perfect solution: our first-ever Candy Trade-In event!

On Friday, November 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., join us at DENN of Door County (2050 County Rd DK, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 | dennshop.com) for a day of community, creativity, and better-for-you snacking.

This special day also marks DENN’s final day of the season before they close for the year, so it’s the perfect time to stop by, celebrate, and enjoy one more visit before winter sets in.

What Is the Candy Trade-In?

At the Candy Trade-In, kids can exchange their sugary Halloween candy for crave-worthy, freeze-dried snacks made with real fruit and cheese. No artificial junk—just naturally delicious bites that parents can feel good about. Because fueling fun shouldn’t mean a sugar crash.

Each child can trade one pound of candy for one bag of premium EverlastingEats snacks, up to five items per child.

Featured Snacks

šŸ Freeze-Dried Honeycrisp Apples – Crisp, sweet, and satisfyingly light.
šŸ’ Montmorency Cherries – Tart and tangy with a powerful burst of flavor.
šŸ§€ Wisconsin Cheese Curds – Bold, crunchy, and packed with protein.

Why We Created the Candy Trade-In

As parents ourselves, we know the post-Halloween candy pile can feel endless. The Candy Trade-In was designed to give families a fun, positive way to celebrate the holiday without the sugar overload.

By swapping candy for real snacks, kids still get to enjoy the treat experience—just with something that fuels them instead of wearing them down.

It’s not about taking away the fun; it’s about making better choices together.
